Youths are not only the future leaders, but also the cohorts of the present. Their power has been recognized by the whole world as they the capability to build a nation if utilized in a constructive way. They have immense energy and potential to bring about changes in the society as it is that phase of life, which is similar to clay and can be molded into the desired shape. Like the youth of any other state or nation, youth of Assam can as well bring changes in the state, making it a better place to live.
Assam is one of the largest and the most important states of North-east India. It is not only the entry point to this region of the country but is also the commercial as well as educational hub. Despite being an important state of north-east India, it is still not as developed as other states of the nation and many changes are still required. The state has faced a lot of issues during the past years like insurgency, illegal immigration, etc., which have created hindrance in the progress and development of the state. Another major issue is the lack of employment opportunity, which has instigated the youth of the state to migrate to other states of the country. However, it is now in the hands of the youth of Assam to bring about positive changes in the state and make it a better state, which is free from social evil, discriminations, political turmoil, poverty, unemployment, etc.
It is believed that the future of a nation lies in the hands of the youths and in the same way, the future of Assam lies in the youths of the state. They are endowed with tremendous potential and if not utilized in the right way, it will be an enormous waste of human resource. They should be given opportunities to implement their talent. However, the prime duty of the Government of the state is to provide good quality education to the youth in order to produce better and educated citizens. Government should understand that only with these youths, the beautiful land of Assam can become a developed state like any other states of the country. Even though we dream of a state that is developed, it is still dealing with the basic developmental issues and there has been no remarkable development in the state in the recent years. It is only with the involvement of the young generation of the state, the necessary changes can be implemented. The young generation of the state is intelligent, hardworking and dynamic; however, their energy needs to be channelized in the right way to bring positive changes in the state.
As the youth have the capability to transform the state into a better place to live, they should be molded in a constructive way. Feeling of nationalism and patriotism should be inculcated in them since childhood as it is considered to be a positive means of building a nation. The feeling of nationalism will make them loyal towards their state and as a result, they will do their best in bringing the required changes. However, it is only the youth of Assam, in whose hands the future of the state lies. It is they who can make the state developed, corruption-free and a better place to live.
